This weekend I had a pancreatitis episode. While I was cooking breakfast I felt a slight little pain and before you know it I knew what was going on. I did my usual pre ER treatment hydromorphone and a hot tub. That helped for about an hour or two. During that time I cranked up some Jason Upton and talked to the Lord about releasing the pain and making this a mild episode. I hesitated on going to the ER because I knew the Lord was doing some work in it. The pain never got too too bad but the fatigue was starting to set in. Whenever I get pancreatitis it REALLY takes a lot out of me. I went to the ER and since I’m practically on a 1st name basis with them I was able to get in right away. Before I knew it I was getting fluid and pain meds. While awaiting on my Lipase and Amylase levels I cranked on some more music. I had a couple friends stop by and check on me, which was nice to have the company. The PA gave me my levels right about the time my fluids ran out.
